The altar candles and bread & wine that are used at Masses at St. Anthony’s are available for memorializing. This is a very special way to remember a deceased family member or to celebrate a special event. Remembrance begin on Sunday and end on Saturday of that week. The offerings are $20.00 for the altar candles and $30.00 for the Bread and Wine. Cards are available. The names of those being memorialized will be announced in our bulletin. Please visit the parish center to make your request.

More than 330 parishioners attended our outdoor Mass on the Parish Green to celebrate Welcome Home Sunday on a perfect weather September 19. It was the largest gathering at St. Anthony's since the onset of the pandemic. Afterward parishioners enjoyed our traditional WHS BBQ and Ministry Fair. VOLUNTEER CATECHISTS, AIDES AND HALL MONITORS ARE NEEDED -- 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR We invite you to share your faith, time and talents with the elementary and middle school-aged children of our parish. St. Anthony’s needs volunteer catechists (teachers) for Grades 1-8. We also need catechist aides and hall monitors to assist with our program. (Note: you don’t have to have a child in our religious education program to volunteer for these important roles.) We encourage every adult parishioner to prayerfully consider whether this ministry can be right for you! We will provide training, lesson plans, materials, and support all along the way. DISPENSATION FROM OBLIGATION TO ATTEND MASS ON SUNDAYS AND HOLY DAYS IN DIOCESE OF ROCKVILLE CENTRE TO END ON THE EVE OF FEAST OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY – AUGUST 14, 2021 ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NEW YORK – August 2, 2021 – The general dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation in the Diocese of Rockville Centre will end on the eve of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary: Saturday, August 14, 2021. This means that the faithful are required to attend Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation Masses beginning on August 14, 2021. This obligation does not apply to those who are ill, those who are confined to their home, a hospital, or nursing facility, or those with serious underlying health condition.
