A native of Bergenfield, N.J., Fr. Kirk Reynolds served as Pastor here at St. Anthony’s for seven years during the 1990’s. He has spent most of his ordained life between parish work and retreat work.
Prior to his assignment at St. Anthony’s, Fr. Kirk served five years at Nativity parish, a predominantly Hispanic parish on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
Fr. Kirk spent two years at St. Ignatius Retreat House in Manhasset, NY involved in retreat work and giving spiritual direction. He has been at Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, NJ since 2000, continuing his retreat work and spiritual direction in both English and Spanish.
Fr. Reynolds became fluent in Spanish while in different assignments in Puerto Rico, Bolivia, and Spain during his years of formation.
Fr. Reynolds graduated from Regis High School in NYC. He has a Master’s of Divinity (MDiv) from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley (CA) and a Master’s degree in
Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University, NYC.
