Fr. Biagi graduated from Xavier High School in 1967 and went on to Fordham University for his B.A. in French. He received his M.A. from NYU in French Language and Civilization and a Professional Diploma in Administration and Supervision from Fordham University in 1993. He received his Master of Divinity from the Weston School of Theology in 1978 and was ordained to the Society of Jesus on June 10, 1978. Fr. Biagi taught at Xavier in the Foreign Language department from 1973 until 1975. He returned to Xavier in 1980 where as director of Campus Ministry he developed a four year retreat program, instituted a Christian Service program for seniors. From 1986 until 1992, he served as Director of Vocations. His career from 1993 until 2006 was spent at Regis High School; first as Assistant to the President; then as a member of and Chair of the Foreign Language department; also as Director of Christian Service. In 1998, he became Assistant Principal and in 1999, Principal of Regis High School until 2006. In 2007, Fr. Biagi became the Provincial Assistant for Secondary and Pre-Secondary Education, a position he held until 2016. In 2016 Fr. Biagi returned to Xavier High School as Director of Alumni Engagement, until his arrival at St. Anthony’s in July 2020.
